1. Our commitment

We take intellectual property seriously. Every manuscript is checked for originality and every third-party quotation, image or extract must be properly attributed or licensed before publication.

2. What you can report

You can report content that you believe infringes your copyright or other intellectual property rights, whether it appears on our website or in a book published through Omega Publishers.

3. How to submit a notice

Send a written notice to [email protected] with the subject "Copyright notice", including:

• Your name and contact details.
• A description of the work you believe has been infringed.
• The location of the material you believe is infringing, such as a web address or the book title and page number.
• A statement that you believe in good faith that the use is not authorised by the rights holder, its agent or the law.
• A statement that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the rights holder or authorised to act for them.
• Your physical or electronic signature.

4. How we respond

When we receive a complete notice, we will:

• Acknowledge it within five business days.
• Review the material and, where appropriate, remove or disable access to it on our website.
• Inform the author concerned where the notice relates to a book, and work with them to resolve the matter.

5. Counter-notices

If content you provided has been removed and you believe this was a mistake, you can send a counter-notice to the same address explaining why, with your contact details and signature. We will review it and respond.

6. Books sold through retailers

Books are sold through independent retailers who operate their own intellectual property procedures. Where a concern relates to a book, we will cooperate fully with the relevant retailer and the author.

7. Repeat infringement

We will not continue to work with anyone who repeatedly infringes the intellectual property rights of others.

8. Misuse of this process

Please make sure a notice is accurate before sending it. Knowingly false notices can cause real harm and may carry legal consequences.
