The Omega standard.
The commitments we make to every author we publish, and the quality bar every book must clear before it carries our name.
A book is the only business card people keep on their shelf.
So it has to be worth keeping. These are the standards that make sure it is.
Your voice, not ours.
Every chapter is drafted from your own words and reviewed by you. If a line does not sound like you, it does not stay.
In practice
- We study how you speak, write and explain before we draft a word.
- Your stories, examples and opinions are the raw material of every chapter.
- You review the full draft and every note is acted on.
- We never publish a sentence you have not approved.
Your rights, always.
You own the book and everything in it. We take no royalties and no share of anything the book earns you.
In practice
- You hold the copyright to your book and your ideas.
- You keep 100% of your royalties, now and in the future.
- You decide how and where the book is used after publication.
- Our fee is agreed in writing before any work begins.
Your outcome, first.
Every decision, from the title to the cover, is tested against what you need the book to do for your business.
In practice
- Your goals are written down in the positioning summary on day one.
- The chapter plan is built to serve those goals, not to fill pages.
- Cover, title and launch choices are all measured against them.
- After launch, we help you plan how to put the book to work.
Your time, protected.
One senior point of contact, a fixed schedule and a clear list of what we need from you, and when.
In practice
- Every milestone and review date is agreed at the start.
- Onboarding is a guided questionnaire, not a series of long calls.
- Reviews come with a short guide so your time goes where it matters.
- You always know where your book stands.
The editorial standard.
Before a manuscript moves to design, it must pass every one of these checks.
It delivers the promise
The reader finishes with the change the book promised on its cover.
It is structured to be used
Clear chapters, a logical sequence and ideas that build on each other.
It sounds like you
Your phrasing, your stories and your point of view throughout.
It is accurate
Facts, figures, names and references verified and consistent.
It respects the reader
No filler, no repetition and no chapter that does not earn its place.
It is worth quoting
Ideas stated clearly enough that readers repeat them to others.
The design standard.
Your book should look at home beside the best books in its category.
A cover with a point of view
Designed to be understood in a thumbnail and admired on a desk.
An interior that reads easily
Considered typography, generous margins and clean chapter openings.
Diagrams that clarify
Frameworks and models redrawn to publication quality where they help the reader.
Files that print perfectly
Print-ready and ebook files checked before anything goes live.
Integrity in publishing.
Some things we do not do, whatever the pressure to hit a number.
We always
- Present your credentials accurately.
- Invite early readers to share honest opinions.
- Credit sources, quotes and data properly.
- Tell you the truth about what a book can and cannot do.
We never
- Buy or fabricate reviews.
- Manipulate sales or ranking data.
- Publish plagiarised or unlicensed material.
- Guarantee a list placement we cannot control.
Confidentiality by default.
Your ideas are yours. Before, during and after publication.
Many of the people we work with share stories, client examples and ideas that are not yet public. We treat all of it as confidential from the moment you apply.
Your materials are used only to create your book. Access is limited to the people working on it, and we are happy to sign a mutual non-disclosure agreement before you share anything sensitive.
If you prefer not to be named as an Omega author, that is your choice to make.
How we use technology, openly.
Tools support the craft. People do the writing.
We use modern tools where they genuinely help, for example to organise research, transcribe voice notes or check consistency across a long manuscript.
The thinking, writing and editing of your book are done by people. Every chapter is shaped by professional writers and editors and approved by you.
You can read exactly how we approach this in our AI and ghostwriting policy.
What you can expect, and what we ask.
A good partnership works both ways.
